Stars, Penguins swap defensemen with Sydor heading west and Boucher east

The Dallas Stars have acquired defenseman Darryl Sydor from the Pittsburgh Penguins for defenseman Philippe Boucher. “Darryl is a proven veteran defenseman who brings a great deal of character and leadership abilities to our group,” said co-GM Les Jackson in a statement.
