  1. Wow, was expecting a little more chatter about The Blues this week. They have the longest current win streak in the NHL, their goal tending has been exceptional and Tarasenko has been on fire. Add in the fact they’ve been winning while the entire team is battling a nasty bacterial infection, that has caused several players to miss games. Plus key players Backes Stastny & Oshie all being out injured. I at least thought after they shutout Anaheim, (finally defeating one of the better California teams) with a depleted roster (icing only 11 forwards & 7 defense men) that Doug being a Ducks fan would have mentioned it. But the game was completely skipped when discussing that evenings match ups.

I guess I just figured after Doug made mention of The Blues slow start, in the first or second show of this hockey season, that more would be made of how they turned it around. Currently alone at 1st in the Central right now. Although, I also realize that until this team makes some kind of run in the playoffs, they aren’t gonna get much recognition. As most teams that are built as a regular season teams don’t, however with key additions of Lehtera, Stastny, Jaskin, Gunnarsson & Allen all of us here in Blue Note Nation are hoping they’re more of a playoff built team now. Even still…Pretty good week for the St. Louis Blues.

Well, that’s all I wanted to say, just a little disappointed in this weeks episode. Otherwise love the show! Eddie, Doug keep up the great work!
