  1. Hi guys,

I suppose the Scottish Leafs fan was a bit skewed in his perception, because indeed in European soccer the manager on the sideline acts as both coach and GM.

That said, I expect more from you guys in your correction. Brendan Shanahan is Team President, and although undoubtedly is consulted in personnel changes presently and moving forward, Dave Nonis remains firmly the General Manager of the Leafs, as he has since taking over from Brian Burke.

I’m new to your podcast and will continue to listen, but comments like that, or thinking TSN hockey analyst Marty Biron is still on the Rangers, or not knowing Kincaid is backing up Schneids in New Jersey perhaps speaks volumes as to the fact you guys are Southern California hockey fans.

    Best,
Chris in Vancouver – undistracted by any NFL, MLB, or NBA nonsense 😉
