  1. wow, sound quality really went downhill on this weeks podcast, also no music into. I dunno if foxsports still sponsering your show or not. if they are, they really dropped the ball of not letting you have time in a good studio for a couple hours. good thing this is one of the slowest weeks for your show, for this to happen. you mentioned last week about the quality that was fine. bu not this week.

  2. Ah Kert,

Doug was sick all this week and they still did the show from his house. Give them credit for at least doing the show when Doug could have easily skipped this week. Also, the Audio I was listening to, while not up to the standards of the studio, were still great.

  3. Don’t worry about getting tickets for a Canucks game. Unless you are going to see the Habs, Leafs, or Crosby/Ovechkin, you can get cheap prices from scalpers right in front of the stadium. You can usually get them for under cost because there are so many of them wanting your money. Just lowball them and meet in the middle. The closer you wait until game time the cheaper they’ll be.

  4. Jeff,
I realized Bergenheim was a winger after I talked all about how good he was as an offensive defenseman. I was thinking of Marc-Andre Bergeron – my bad. Damn fever!

  5. Lots of respect you guys for doing this show — during the offseason, while Doug is clearly needing as much rest as possible. Love to see the dedication, makes me proud to be a hockey fan. Even though Doug knocked my favorite Kubrick movie last week.

  6. Hi Eddie and Doug,
As with all your other listeners I love the show and really appreciate the time you put into presenting such a good podcast. I do however have to admit that I’ve been unable to listen to the podcast for some time due to technical difficulties followed by some time in hospital (thanks to an ill-timed hockey injury) and then just simply not having the time to listen in. But I’m finally back! I am a little worried about you two though, when I left the show the topic of conversation was none other than the “Mt. Rushmore” of testicles. Now I’m listening in to find out the problems associated with having a friend as a monkey who dresses up……I don’t know where these things spawn from but keep up the laughs, glad to be back listening again.

PS. I don’t think Eddie’s dislike of Monkeys was helped by that Canadians Fan during the last playoff, we all know what his relationship with that franchise is like!

  7. Great show as always! As a Preds fan in Nashville, I am happy for all the blogs I am able to read because if I just had regular media coverage, my hockey growth would be extremely stunted. Good to hear your thoughts on the subject. Keep up the GREAT work!
